Our beginnings.
Don Efesino Fernández Álvarez arrived in Mexico in 1890, after emigrating from Spain due to the strong economic crisis that was being experienced in this country. In 1900 he founded the company Efesino Fernández y CIA, later called Casa Fernández and later Sama Semillas Mexicana S.A. of C.V.
1978
The company is established as Granos y Semillas de México S.A. of C.V.
A company initially dedicated to the exclusive sale of grains and seeds.
Over the years and with the incorporation of new shareholders, Granos y Semillas de México has maintained its main business and evolved by incorporating “DON EFE” into the market, a brand of a wide variety of products, spices and canned products.
2000
A new brand is developed called “Mr. F".
Currently Granos y Semillas de México is better known as DON EFE. And recognized for being a 100% Mexican, solid company that ensures that the quality of its products reaches excellence, working based on high selection processes to have the best national and international products.
